| dc.description.abstract | This study proposes the design of measurement targets for evaluating underwater camera image quality. Considering the reduced field of view caused by underwater optical conditions, grayscale and color checkerboard targets were designed fordistances of 1 m, 2 m, and 3 m. The checkerboard specifications were determined based on the minimum pixel requirements of SSIM, UIQM, and UCIQE, which are commonly used for underwater image quality assessment. The proposed targets providea practical basis for comparing underwater camera performance and quantitatively analyzing underwater image quality metrics. This work is expected to support future underwater imaging experiments and performance evaluations. | - |
