dc.description.abstractNumerous studies on beamforming techniques have been done for the estimation of source direction with an array. The conventional beamforming (delay and sum), MVDR, and MUSIC are some examples. Recently, the frequency difference beamformingwas also introduced for applications to high frequency ranges or the elimination of the aliasing effect. This talk compares performance of the beamforming techniques including frequency difference beamforming using a circular array. The effects of various parameters, such as number of sensors, array radius, frequency range, and SNR, on the beamforming performance are studied. The error analysis for the estimation of particle velocity is also discussed.-
